  1. I think the shows will "merge", but fear will end by the end of season 4. My guess is, season 8 of TWD will wrap up with a reveal of the whisperers. Then, FTWD will air half of season 4, ending with a STRONG hint to the whisperers. Mid season finally for TWD season 9 will be a face reveal of a FTWD cast member as the leader of whisperers.

  2. As long as I don't have to watch FEAR to understand what's happening in TWD, I'll be fine with that.

The two shows have to stay self contained.

It's like the arrowverse, whilst the shows are in the same universe (minus Supergirl) each program has to be able to be enjoyed without needing to watch the others.

  3. If it all crosses over, I'm not going to dig that. I harbor certain biases against Fear. I can't even put my finger on it. It grew with having to have conversations about Morgan's crossover. That's not just me though, as a lot of us gave up upon Travis dying. We are annoyed that they are trying to make us watch this shitty show, just to boost Fear. Putting Lenny James in that show just isn't cool. We're still not going to watch a long story line in Fear. We will just read the next day spoilers, like we do now, and hang out on spoiling dead, like we do now lol. 😏✌

  4. I don't think I'm gonna like this massive community. Just sounds like way too big of a mess. Combining the shows in the manner you described would be the best way to do it. But if they are involved with this new comic book huge community as well, it gets way too big imo.

  5. I appreciate the fact that ronnie talks possibilities . And basically isn't afraid to speak what he thinks as it enters his mind. If he didn't would you really want to tune in a? As we would just be another Candy ass politically correct scripted commentary.

  6. I HATE THIS IDEA! Fear is a terrible show and the walking dead has really gone down in quality (story wise & such). If the second half of season 8 doesn't get better I'm going to stop watching. The last season I bought on bluray was season 5. I have 1 – 5 and won't be buying any other seasons.
I'm so sick of Gimples gimmicky bullshit and if AMC pulls this shit – it will not bring me back to watching the shows. The writers and Gimple are not talented enough to pull "this" off and it all is forced no matter how you slice it.
They didn't set up the shows this way. Plus, even though both shows are the same universe – they can't keep their stories straight. example – on TWD you have to be well covered in blood & guts to be able to walk through a herd or have your walker "body guards" but then all the sudden this season you can get sick from having the blood & guts on you? Jump over to Fear and Nick is always bathed in blood in the first 2 seasons and never gets sick but then s3 he only smears a little blood on his face & shirt and walks through a herd no problem.
The lack of consistency on both shows, between both shows (even though it's the same world) is in your face. It can't be ignored and the story and writing has gotten so bad that it can't be overlooked either.
Merge the two shows and you will get more of this along with all the other mistakes because you still have the same people creating the stories, directing, editing, producing and on and on.
I know I'm not the only one who feels this way and if you disagree thats cool – you love both shows- thats cool too but if you're honest, one would admit all the problems with both shows. TWD isn't the same quality it used to be.
Fear is on life support and TWD is fast tracking it's way there. Since season 5 – TWD has lost half of the audience. Now they still pull big numbers in viewers but it IS going down and going down fast. I would not be surprised if by the end of this season TWD is getting less than 6 mil viewers.
I hate the cross over and if AMC merges the two shows – well it's just fucking cheesy and I don't think it will work in bringing people back to watching.

  7. I personally don't like shows who crossover a lot, it's been done before with Law and Order: SVU with Law and Order, I've seen it with Buffy and Angel and now lame ass CW series(hate those shows), ugh, hate it, it's Imo lazy writing and not creative whatsover. Let Fear be Fear, let the Walking Dead be the Walking Dead, which right now they are struggling but they can come back…. maybe. Anyway, if Fear gives Morgan a chance to fill in the blanks of what happened when Rick left than I'm okay with it and it should be like that.
I don't want to see a time skip in Fear either, the time skip should only happen in The Walking Dead after All Out Bore lol 😄 but it's the only place where it should happen.

  8. what if morgan goes looking for duane like michonne went looking for her daughters and he finds duane at the commonwealth because we technically never saw him die even though morgan said it

  9. I believe that this has always been the idea . Remember the plane stuff… IT ended up inside fear… how it linked up… the tunnels??? Now the red machete…. it's all starting to be one show… I would love it…there are so many endless ideas and it only translates on us having more walking dead… Now I don't believe that Carl dies though I think this is only smoke and mirrors to hide some secret that is probably right in our face and I think it has to do with this… just saying…. let me know what you think….

  10. the 1 thing that I hate about TWD is the silence… when they make a bad choice and the fans are in up roar about it I.E killing Carl, it's the silence that I hate no1 from the crew/writing team says anything they stay silent and hope it blows over…. once the fandom say WTF they should come out and explain

  11. I like the idea of Morgan going to Texas after Rick leaves him in season 1 and meeting Madison and crew there. He watches Madison transition into Alpha and gets the hell out of there. Then in season 9 of TWD he recognizes The Whisperers for what they are. Season 5 of FTWD can then play catch up and show the group's journey across the country. Until they arrive near Alexandria.

  12. Ronny I’ve been a defender of The Walking Dead for the last two seasons, but what you said resonated with me a lot, it does feel more like a sitcom, I don’t know, the stakes don’t feel high, the writing is weak, i don’t know how they could get back to how good it was, I want it too, it’s also my favorite show, but if it gets to the point you described in this video, well let’s just say it feels like it could if it doesn’t improve
