Dubbing those who arenāt taking social-distancing seriously āf**king stupidā, while she didnāt mention Evangeline by name, Sophie quoted what the Ant-Man star had previously said last week about coronavirus.
Speaking to her fans as she exclaimed āhereās the teaā, she urged those watching to āstay insideā and not to be āf***ing stupidā.
She continued on Saturday: āEven if you count your āfreedomā over [ā¦] your health.ā
Sophie added: āI donāt give a f**k about your freedomā¦. You could be infecting other people, other vulnerable people around you by doing this. So stay inside guys!ā
The star concluded her message: āSo stay inside guys. Itās not cool and itās not big and itās not clever. And thatās the tea.ā
Last week Evangeline told fans she isnāt self-isolating during the coronavirus pandemic, as she āvalues her freedom more than her lifeā.Ā
The Ant-Man and the Wasp star, 40, shared a photo of her morning cup of tea, telling her followers: āJust dropped my kids off at gymnastics camp. They all washed their hands before going in. They are playing and laughing. #businessasusualā.Ā
When her fans questioned why her children were still going to gymnastics camp and why she was still going about her business as normal, the actor revealed she didnāt believe the warnings about coronavirus.Ā
Despite the public being advised to avoid unnecessary journeys and gatherings, Evangeline told her followers she wasnāt worried about contracting the potentially fatal illness which has so far killed thousands around the world.
She replied to one: āHello Erin, I am living with my father at the moment, who has stage four leukaemia.Ā
āI am also immune compromised at the moment. I have two young kids. Some people value their lives over freedom, some people value freedom over their lives.Ā
āWe all make our choices. With love and respect. ELā.Ā
Please donāt take Evangelineās guidance, peeps ā letās social distance as much as possible, eh?
What does self-isolation mean?
Self-isolation means staying indoors and avoiding all contact with other people for 14 days, according to the NHS.
It means no going to work, school, the shops or even to the park for some fresh air, in order to minimise the risk of passing on Covid-19.
Public transport and taxis are a no-no and you shouldnāt have visitors over, even if you just stay at home.
Anyone in self-isolation is advised to ask friends, family and delivery drivers to pick things up for you and drop them-off. You should put a sign outside telling people you are self-isolating and everything should be left on the floor outside your front door to avoid the risk of further infections.
Those who are self-isolating are still advised to stay away from their pets as much as possible and to wash their hands before and after touching them.
If you live in a house share and have to self-isolate, the advice is to stay in your room with the door closed and only emerge to use communal kitchens, bathrooms and living areas if absolutely necessary.
Who should self-isolate?
The government advises anyone returning from Category 1 areas (Hubei, Iran, Italy and Daegu or Cheongdo in South Korea), to go straight home and self-isolate, even if they don’t display any symptoms.
Travellers should use theĀ 111 online coronavirus serviceĀ to find out what to do next.
Anyone returning from Category 2 areas should self-isolate and call 111 if they have Covid-19 symptoms. You can find the list of those places here.
