Life looks all good for Deborra-Lee Furness. The 61-year-old producer, who is married to Hugh Jackman, gave a thumbs up as she left the Women’s Filmmaker Luncheon in New York on Tuesday.Deborra-Lee looked relaxed and radiant in an all-black ensemble as she left the event, which brought the women of Hollywood together amid the ongoing Harvey Weinstein scandal.Deborra-Lee looked super chic in her simple outfit of blouse, trousers and oversized coat.White accents on her brogue shoes and the lapels of her jacket, and a pair of stripy ankle socks, gave her outfit an edge.She was joined by Olivia Wilde, Elizabeth Olsen and Dakota Fanning at the event, which was fully titled Through Her Lens: The Tribeca Chanel Women’s Filmmaker Luncheon in New York.While she Furness pulled her strawberry blonde locks back into a rough up-do, she showcased her natural beauty through a nude-base makeup.She added to her look with a black oversized bag, a gold pendant necklace and statement black sunglasses.Through Her Lens is a three-day workshop which will provide five female filmmakers with project support, master classes and one-on-one mentorship from October 17-19 in New York City.It will cover a range of topics, including script-to-screen development, story structure, casting, finding collaborators, festival strategy, distribution, and working with music composers, costume designers and producers.’We created Through Her Lens with Chanel three years ago to support and nurture female artists through mentorship and funding,’ said Paula Weinstein, executive vice president of Tribeca Enterprises.Hollywood is still reeling after an investigative piece by The New York Times and The New Yorker earlier this month uncovered numerous allegations of sexual harassment and assault against Harvey Weinstein over several decades.Actresses such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Beckinsale, Ashley Judd, Cara Delevigne, Heather Graham and Mira Sorvino have come forward to give their personal accounts of harassment and abuse of power by Weinstein.Game of Thrones star Lena Headey is the most recent actress on Tuesday to reveal that she had two uncomfortable encounters with the movie mogul.
