Wild child Emilia got her first inking on Wednesday (Instagram/EmiliaClarke)

Emilia Clarke has dedicated her first ever tattoo to Game Of Thrones, two months after filming wrapped on the final season.

The Daenerys Targaryen actress declared that she was ‘Mother of Dragons forever’ as she showed off the commemorative inking of ‘her babies’ Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion on her right wrist.

Emilia confessed to having an ‘existential crisis’ at the end of Game Of Thrones, which collected the Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series on Monday night, but now says she ‘couldn’t be happier if she tried.’

She captioned the shot: ‘MOD 4 LYFE!!!!🔥 Made sure this mamma ain’t NEVER forgetting her babies….’

Emilia pulled a wild face at Dr Woo’s famous tattoo studio in Los Angeles and joked that she’d ‘only passed out once’ during her first ever experience in the artist’s chair.

Co-star Sophie Turner similarly got a tattoo to commemorate her time on Game Of Thrones in July.

Alongside an illustration of a wolf on her forearm, British actress Sophie got the words, ‘the pack survives’ – which is a Sansa Stark quote from last season, and definitely not a spoiler, FYI.

Castmembers and crew of the HBO series put an emotional end to production on Series 8, mainly filmed in Belfast, on July 6, 2018.

Both actresses have been on show for almost a decade, starring since its inception in 2011.

Emilia credited the show with changing her life, writing afterwards: ‘It’s been a trip @gameofthrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I’d be able to live and the family I’ll never stop missing.’

And as she showed up for the Emmys win at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Monday, Me Before You star Emilia admitted the feeling was ‘bittersweet.’

She said the end of filming was a ‘genuine existential crisis, like, legit, where you’re like, “What?”’

The actress revealed that there was ‘a lot of crying’ as the last ‘cut’ was called and we’re expecting plenty more tears when the show returns to screens in 2019, in one last blaze of glory.
