While the stars of Game of Thrones work on what’s called the best television show to have ever graced the platform, they also actively enjoy watching other shows. Many of the stars from the show have confessed to being fans of various other shows, and the latest one is Emilia Clarke, who plays the role of Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones. Apparently she loves The Handmaid’s Tale, as she recently revealed. Read on!
As we recently reported, Emilia recently featured on the cover of the Harper’s Bazaar magazine, and she gave a candid interview for the same. While speaking about nudity on Game of Thrones, she let slip that she just absolutely loves The Handmaid’s Tale. She said :
“I’m starting to get really annoyed about this stuff now because people say, ‘Oh, yeah, all the porn sites went down when Game of Thrones came back on.’ I’m like, ‘The Handmaid’s Tale?’ I fucking love that show, and I cried when it ended because I couldn’t handle not seeing it.
That is all sex and nudity. There are so many shows centered around this very true fact that people reproduce. People fuck for pleasure—it’s part of life.”
The show, based on Margaret Atwood’s classic novel, has helped Hulu gain somr mainstream success from the hype and positive response that it has received. It has already been renewed for a second season, too!
