This is one of my own pieces. It is dedicated to Rhaegar Targaryen, a fantasy character of the books “A Song of Ice and Fire” written by George R.R. Martin.
When I play or listen this piece, I image Rhaegar playing a malinconic melody with his harp among the ruins of Summerhall, the summer residence of House Targaryen, which burned during the same day of Prince Rhaegar’s birth.
