  1. Hey Joe, can you explain why everyone starts their temp towers high and then drops them as the print goes up? I would think it takes less time to heat up than to cool down so the 260 initial tempt is likely 260 thru most of the second step before it really cools to 250
On the flip side since heads heat up SO fast why not start low and move up? Pretty new to this so any help would be appreciated

  2. That Urban fossil color is great. I just bought 15 rolls during the sale last week. I also found that 225 is the sweet spot on my Makergear M2, M3 and Anycubic i3 Mega. Good video thanks for doing the review.

  3. I can also tell you that this is the most requested brand I carry! The customers that I print for request this brand over the others! I think their quality and prices are unbeatable! I love this filament! I have been printing for several years now and my hub ranks in the top 5% on 3dhubs in North America. I have Never had any unresolved problems with MakerGeeks! They always give me awesome customer service! I can tell you this I always stick with their in house brand filaments. I believe their quality is far superior to all other brands that I have tried. I believe their biggest problem is the bad customer service reputation they have received. I have Never had a negative experience with this company! I love their filament and their Stickers! Right now I have around 200 pounds of their filament and I am ordering another 12 kilos today! 🙂 I love their Makergeeks PLA ABS PETG Oh and Their RAPTOR SERIES UMNUMM 🙂 🙂 Oh YEAH!!!! I absolutely LOVE their optically clear PLA~!~ YES!!!!!! I will continue to support my favorite filament company regardless of what a few bad apples say. I love MakerGeeks! I just like having the best possible materials to offer my clients! and wow I can also tell you that all the filaments I have slapped a mic on where way more accurate than what they advertise,… which is WAY AWESOME! It sucks to see my favorite company trashed by a few people! I can also tell you I got ticked off at a few individuals talking trash under different screen names (same Person/Company) that is right!…. a competitor was bad mouthing them …huum go figure maybe the other countries are so ticked off because they can't compete with his pricing lol . But seriously I looked into a few cases and was blown away by what actually transpired verses what the ticked off client stated! I am in No Way affiliated with this company, but I believe in their products, and I believe in their owner as well! I really do believe that they offer the best 3d printing filament period and if you stick with their brands, that they manufacture in house you will not be disappointed. I Love MakerGeeks period there is nothing anyone can say to sway me…

  4. I use blue painters tape with petg and flexible filament on my prusa and lulzbot because they stick to well to pei, works great.
Please consider using the actual temperature instead numbers for the temp towers, also you cant see the detail different temps produce because the tower is too far away from the camera. Please show close ups or pictures as your referring to temps – u could even have the actual temps along side the numbers shown in the pics as u describe the different temps.

    Loved your Octoprint series.

  5. Hey Joe,
Are you aware of what this company has been doing to there geekbox subscribers and other customers? I personally cancelled my subscription after already paying for September but I never received it and then they charged my account again for October. I have sent more than 10 emails that have all been ignored. Clearly they don't care about their customers and our small voices. Content creators like yourself have the ability to shine light on these bad companies like most of us cannot. My situation is not uncommon, sadly many people have waiting long shipping times after paying or never receiving anything at all.
