Game of Thrones has an official animated prequel series, and episode one is about Old Valyria and the Targaryens! Why do a series about Aegon the Conqueror with Viserys as the narrator? Could it be a hint about whats to come?

I don't liek art style. I hope they will drop that awful 3D, feels like fan made video. It is way better to have animations like in Histoy and Lore bonus DVD stuff.

Idk about the animated series…but like u said it can be costly for a prequel with all cgi needed for the dragons.
Wouldnt it be much more better if it was a series based on the aftermath of the upcoming final season? That would be awesome if they did that….but im still gonna give this prequel series a chance.
I think a full length movie in Theaters would have been much better!
