Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon was progressing with its filming with a swift pace so far, until recently. The production has come to a sudden halt as one of the important crew members has tested positive for COVID-19 on the last day of shoot in Caceres, forcing the team to extend their stay.

According to the local newspaper Hoy, one of the main members of the recording team, who was responsible for filming a lot of crucial scenes, contracted the virus and was immediately quarantined.

House of The Dragon has faced similar situations before in the past, when the shoot had to be postponed for a few days due to a positive covid case. Hopefully, they will recover from the jolt soon, and continue with their shoot.

This might cause some delay in the filming of the Game of Thrones prequel in Monsanto, where the shooting is supposed to take place from 26th October.
