It was Olenna who took the stone from the necklace that was planted on Sansa by Little Finger. She poisoned the wine. That's why she was playing with Maerjary's necklace.

joffrey's killer seems like a red herring although i don't know who out of all suspects is the one who's supposed to be misleading (yeah i do)

Go back and watch the wedding scenes again — Lady Olenna picks one of the stones off of Sansa's necklace when she's talking to her. It's VERY subtle — if you're not watching for it, you'll miss it.

Storm of Swords is rich with great stories, and prompted strong Seasons 3&4, but I confess I can't get into the Babe-raham Lincoln parts. I understand what Martin was doing with Daenerys' journey, but her Book 1 / Season 1 story felt so much more compelling by comparison.

It was little finger and Oleanna who killed geoffrey…they both confessed. Little fingers friend who wanted geoffreys death was Oleanna.
