While this scene is done well in terms of choreography/dialog, I think the writers let Arya get away with far too much. GoT is no fairy tale: Characters are usually not the one to succeed where 100 before have failed (they will rather be no 101 to die). Arya alreay broke the many-faced gods rules by taking the wrong life : She was warned about it, but someone with years of experience who knew that those rules mattered. It was already a miracle that she did not did not starve as blind beggar on the street, but got back to full health. But leaving that assassins temple upon just completed training – using those abilities even masters with decades of experience did not dare to use against the rules – it a bit too much. Characters died and were mutilated in GoT for far less.
Am I the only one in awe of how matter of fact Jaqen was when Arya confronted him for sending Waif to assassinate her while pointing Needle at him? He didn't flinch one bit.

That's Lady Crane's face on the wall, bros… Arya was also the waif and killed crane in that persona. She then went on to have a wild adventure that didn't actually happen, until Arya snuffed out the waif identity. I'm Arya Stark of Winterfell, and I'm going home.
Everyone is saying that Arya actually killed the waif in the dark herself. Could it be that Arya made her final 3rd wish for Jaqen to kill the waif for her? In season 2, 4, 5, 6 we never heard of a 3rd "wish/name" for Jaqen to kill for her to return the 3 deaths for the "Red God/Many Faced God". No more, no less as per the original instructions given by Jaqen.
