Here's my Game Of Thrones Episode 3 video. Let me know what your favorite parts. The battles were not what I expected. It was much more about the character interactions. Time to get to work Jon Snow! Posting my Rick and Morty Episode 2 video and my Game Of Thrones Episode 4 Trailer next!
There was some one in the dungeon who asked where the queen off dragons is, any know who this might have been?
I think Jaime would have had the guilty realisation that he doubted his brother in favour of his sister. A real "oh shit. It's true" moment. Beautifully acted.
Jon: "The dead are coming for us all."
Tyrion: "Why don't you figure out what to do about my missing fleet and murdered allies, and I'll figure out what to do about your walking dead men."
Me: "OMG! They made a reference to their chief competition."
Sooooo, Podrick is at the Dragons Pit, not Brianne. Which means that "Oathkeeper" is still at Winterfell????
I'm a little late, but I just rewatched this episode and noticed an external reference to The Walking Dead and it turns out there are two in this episode. A lot of people noticed the one while Jon and Tyrion are talking on the cliff where Tyrion says "walking dead" by name. But I'm surprised no one noticed the theme reference in the music while Cersei is walking out of the dungeons.
In all seriousness, I love these videos but the pronunciation of these names is killing me.
HERE'S A HEAD-SCRATCHER: What's Jon's answer if Daenerys/Tyrion/Varys/etc. ask him why he's not part of the Night's Watch anymore? So far, he hasn't told any of them that he died and was brought back to life (which in his own death gave him legitimate grounds to leave the Night's Watch). I know it doesn't matter, but the detail is bugging me. At first, when Jon and Dany met, I thought maybe they just accepted his title of 'King of the North' without question (especially Dany since she may not know he was previously in the Night's Watch) and it also wasn't mentioned during any scenes on Dragonstone, but THEN in the most recent episode (S7E5 – Eastwatch), when Jon hints that he will go to Eastwatch with Jorah to capture/bring back a wight, Davos says, "…You're not in the Night's Watch anymore…". This is where I caught the detail and wondered why they didn't question why he wasn't anymore. Everyone knows once you take your vows, you cannot leave the Wall, nor can you wear any crowns or swear allegiance to any house, which again brings up – what would Jon say if they asked him? And why haven't they asked?! They'd find out his whole resurrection thing if they'd just ASK since he would've had to tell them at that point. Am I missing something here?
Actually, now that I think about it – why didn't ANYONE ask him since he left the Wall? Sansa, Northern lords, Ramsay, etc. etc. etc…. I mean, did they think the Nights Watch rules/oath was suddenly disregarded/changed for no reason after decades of serious adherence? Weird.
The Grey Joys have nothing to say to Theon….they knocked him out at Winterfell when he was going to fight to the death. Severely dissapointed with that part it's too flip flop. They knock Theon for being a "coward" when that's all we've seen from the Grey Joys is people running away and living to fight another day. It's stupid and people should be honest and call it out instead of this blind bum kissing.
I really liked how they showed that Sansa could take charge and really run things by herself. She really been a 'victim character' for the majority of the story and I'm happy to see her becoming more involved and actually having a say and a role in how things play out. She helped Jon in the battle of the basterds and is effectively ruling the north when Jon's away
i think that "crazy" speech from littlefinger was actually more or less a threat and a warning
VARYS DOESN'T HAVE HIS MINIONS ANYMORE OR THE GUY FROM PENTHOS AKA 'PENTHOUSE ' BECAUSE VARYS HAS BEEN ON THE MOVE SINCE HE LEFT W/TYRION & CERSI IS AFTER HIM AS WELL.
LONG STORY SHORT, JUST SAYING
i love GAME OF THRONES
I'm surprised that you didn´t mention when Bran told Sansa that he needed to speak to Jon, I think it´s hinting that Bran will tell Jon about his true parenting
As usual, thanks so much for your breakdown of the episode! It truly adds to my GoT fandom!
You're way too optimistic.
Guess what?
I got a GoT Season 7 ad/trailer
Couldn't it be that "bending the knee" will turn into Jon proposing to Daenerys?
Is Sir Bronn actually an arrogant two bit Medieval punk? How dare he tell Jamie to get to the Scorpion himself! Plus, that was after he complained about only getting a bag of gold for his aiding Jamie at the battle of High Garden. He actually wants a castle!!! The Audacity!!! He's a Flea Bottom, cut throat punk!
From season 4
War is war, but killing a man at a wedding? Horrid. What sort of monster would do such a thing?
Olenna Tyrell to Sansa Stark
This season is rushing the plot too much.
But Robb Stark was the last king in the north
best episode thus far in the season!
can u talk about the "chaos is a ladder" moment
and the look of little finger face :3
I always thought Maisie Williams (Arya) was Scottish but she is English apparently, she has a real Scottish look about her.
How about that line with jon davos and missandei… do you mind if i swap sides?
It's getting weak in my opinion. Could have been okay to just have the last two seasons as one season. How much suspense is too much suspense?
Casterly Rock looked completely underwhelming. Quite a disappointment for such a talked about place we've never been to before.
