Here's my new Night King Game of Thrones video. Let me know how you think they show has changed him from the books and what you want them to do with the character! Posting my Episode 6 video tonight after it airs!
The fact that the Night King has always been this mysterious force of nature sent to destroy everything for no real reason leads me to believe that they will end up using a pre-existing character to explain away the night king instead of explaining his entire backstory through season 8.
In other words, a plot twist revolving around one of the pre-established characters involving them having somehow created the Night King or actually being the Night King. In my opinion, probably Bran in some way having influenced past events, i doubt he is the Night King but i think he had a hand in creating the Night King.
What does the Night King want? Pussy of course after all these thousands of years.
The Night King should take CERCI as his QUEEN so he can have little ice babies. Or kill Deanys and make her his QUEEN. Or turn Jon out and make HIM his queen. Whatever dude, we are not judging.
Someone should speak for the NK. The Night King should WORG into BRAN and speak directly to the North men in a main hall at Winterfell. At this point Bran should be able to walk. The NK can reanimate the dead why not Bran's Legs? When Bran is possessed by the NK he should be able to WALK.
If you can't see Hodor among the white walkers, Bran is not the Night King.
so this theory basically says, there is not enough information to form a theory
The night king is Lommy. Obviously
❤️
The knight is stark and full of terrors
He can't be the night king because he isn't a white Walker.
He's white, but can't walk😭
The Others are left in ambiguity in the books as well. It's not like Martin has given us loads of information, and what he does give us he makes sure that it follows an important historical point. That is to say that some perspectives are from the point of ignorance, not enlightenment. I have been critical of Martin's claim to "history", but on this (if he is moving in this direction) he is right. What we know of the Others is secondhand information given to us from those who would mostly find them to be repulsive.
2019? Sheesh, suck it up buttercup; I have been reading this series since 1999, and I have all but given up on Winds being published.
I think Bran was ungrateful to Mira Reed for saving him bcos he now knows that he himself is the future (so to speak) Night King..!!
Night King happens to be Paul from The Wonder Years or Kevin from Mr. Belvedere. The actor once stuffed a gerbil in his ass.
What if the Night King is actually R'hllor, the Red God?
His insignia reminds me of a flame. He also has the ability to control flames. A lot of the mistakes Melissandre made facilitated him gaining a better foothold. Now he has a dragon, which spits blue fire… which is much hotter than a yellow/red flame.
Maybe he is just manipulating all of the worshipers of the Red God to actually make it possible for him to break out of the prison he was put in for some reason.
I know this might be really far fetched… but it just occurred to me and I had to throw it out there 😛
i was just thinking. which is common sense. but the men along with the night king are actually ancestors of all families, upon breaking bond of peace. starks, lannisters, targaryen etc… they came to end the cycle. winter is coming
Bran will become the new knight king
The night's king in the book was just a night's watch commander that married a white walker. He was killed when the king of the north and the king beyond the wall at the time joined together to overthrow him. He is not at all connected to the tv show version.
I'm suicidal af but staying alive to watch season 8. #boatsex
this guy said 1/4 mile radius lmao MORON
The children of the forest are still in control of the white walkers … and they will win in the end … or … not?
Did you red the books? They're waaay different
I think that the reason that the reason that the Night King isn't really fleshed out up to this point is that they want to save revelations concerning his motivations for season 8. This is sort of historically what this show does, it sets up expectations about the characters, their motivations, and their futures, and then shatters them. I think this is likely what we will see with the Night King as well, that he will be presented as a mindless evil villain until season 8, at which point his motivations will become known in a twist, probably with us hearing him speak at the end of one of the episodes, probably around mid-season.
Would be so cool if Bran talks with the Night King at the end..
Actually, if Bran is the Night King, it gives him the perfect motive to attack King's Landing, as the Lannister's are in power there and they are the ones responsible for Bran being crippled, and for Ned's death, as well as the rest of his family that died though it was the Frey's that killed Robb n Cat, n Ramsey killed Rickon, those deaths were still approved by the Lannisters be it Tywin, Joffrey, or Cersei, as well as Jaime pushing him from the tower, plus it may shed light on how Sam survived his encounter when he first saw the whitewalkers, he even saw the Night King on his horse, (it was the 1st or 2nd season finale) just an fyi If you watch the 1st season over, Rickon makes a few dead on predictions leading me to believe that he could have played a much bigger part in the story, plus i bet he got him some of that wildling chick, and i don't think HBO would be ready to cover that relationship, as they already have their hands full with so much incestual relationships, like GoT is trying to justify or advocate such things… We don't always get to choose who we love ig.
You have made this sound as though it's just a freaky rendition of Harry Potter.
can has hbo?
Why would the night king be just some random entity. It would be much better if he was someone who is an existing character. The only one he could is bran. Law of conservation of characters.
Im thinking.. He just started to look a bit more like Bran + the stuff about Bran
possibly getting stuck if he goes into someone and we know he can alter the past somehow as evidence by Hodor.. So, what If he just got stuck inside the Night King or something like that
If whites can't swim, then WHY didn't Daenerys just melt the ice with her fire and let them drown…??
Is it just me that thinks bran will end up warging into the night king??
Jon Snow becomes the new night king?
Night king 2020
You rock keep up the great work
I'm so confused now when season 8 will be aired. People are saying 2019 now and i really hope emergency awesome is correct and we'll get season 8 like this year.
5:40 There are probably a lot of Targaryens who named their sons Aegon" OH SNAP!
