Game Of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke has revealed that the Stark sisters aren’t Daenerys’ biggest fan when they meet her at Winterfell in the upcoming finale season eight.

The hotly-anticipated series is set to introduce some of the HBO show’s most infamous characters to each other for the first time, but it seems that Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Arya (Maisie Williams) won’t warm to the Mother of Dragons straight away.

The 32-year-old actress confessed: ‘I like to think that it’s like Meet the Parents. It’s like: “I hope they like me. [Jon Snow]’s wicked. It’s a real good thing we got going on.

Emilia continued to Entertainment Weekly: ‘He’s the final piece. We’re destined for greatness and world domination is a breath away.”‘

She added: ‘And so I need to be like: “Can I braid your hair, Sansa? Little Arya, come over here, let’s play some cricket.”

‘So there’s that. And then, very, very quickly, it’s like: “Wait, is it just me, or do they hate me?”‘

The season eight finale of Game Of Thrones kicks off later this week, with showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss admitting that some fans are going to hate the ending.

Viewers can ruin each episode of the final installment for their sworn enemies thanks to a brand new website that anonymously texts victims storylines before they tune in.

There will be six episodes in the eighth season of the show, making it the shortest series. Typically the show has had ten episodes per season, but this changed during the seventh season when only seven episodes were made.

Game Of Thrones starts 14 April on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.
