Game Of Thrones has had us grow to love characters we initially hated, and hate characters we thought we loved – so why would they stop that now in season 8?

The latest warning of what’s to come came at the New York premiere last week – where Jerome Flynn, who plays Ser Bronn, dropped a bit of a hint that we’re about to turn on him.

It’s already pretty well known that Ser Bronn is not exactly one that plays by the rules, but his smart-mouth and ability in battle has made him a favourite.

Starting life on the show as a mercenary, the character is now a knight in the heart of all the action as the confidant and right-hand man of Tyrion Lannister.

So what exactly could he do to lose that reputation?

‘I don’t know, they [the fans] might not love him as much as they do right now,’ Jerome warned Insider at the premiere.

‘But I hope they still do,’ he continued. ‘He is who he is and what he says, isn’t he? And he’ll do what he needs to get his castle.’

The comments come as Gwendoline Christie, who plays fearless warrior Brienne Of Tarth, admits she was left ‘deeply unsettled’ as she read the scripts for the season finale.

With a show that’s full of pillaging, rape, murder, dragons, and mass slayings, what exactly could’ve left her that shaken?

You’ve got to hand it to the team, they’ve done a pretty solid job of keeping spoilers under serious lock and key.

From making Joe Jonas sign an NDA so fiancée Sophie Turner could talk about Sansa’s fate with him, to putting Kit Harington to the test with the cast bombarding him with questions on SNL, everyone’s lips are tightly shut.

There was one moment where we thought Maisie Williams let slip something major about Arya Stark, but it was just an April Fools’ prank.

Six days and counting, you guys…

Game Of Thrones returns 14 April on HBO and Sky Atlantic.
