  1. What if the night king sent his army to Winterfell to distract Jon and Dany from his true purpose, which is to ride his dragon to Kings Landing and kill everyone there? Jon even asked about the population of Kings Landing and said that the entire North wouldn’t fit in it and that he would love to have them fight with him against the White walkers. Jon and Dany would win the fight in the North and start to celebrate a hard fought victory only to learn that the Night King has 1 million wights and a dragon at his back to the south. Plus everyone who are on the “good” side (Jamie, maybe Bronn if he was smart knowing his only friend keeping him alive from Cersei left the city?) of the series is out of the city, and it would show Cersei that she should’ve taken the Night King more seriously, and it would take her out so the final enemy is actually the Night King, which they’ve established from the very beginning as the main enemy. Also it would make the Night King look like a really smart commander/strategist. Know it doesn’t line up with the brother killing Cersei prophecy, but just seems like it could be in the realm of possible. Also it would be the same attack strategy as Robb used on Jamie at Riverrun and Jamie used on team Dany last season at Highgarden.
