Game of Thrones provided a platform for a lot of actors to shoot their careers to the top. It has been more than a year since the acclaimed TV series wrapped up filming. Most of the stars have already moved on to new projects. Rose Leslie, the gorgeous actress who played Ygritte on the show, is gearing up for her new movie Death on the Nile.
The 33-year-old soon to be a mother got candid with the New York Post after her Alexa photoshoot. She was excited to work again after a 7-month break. She said, “After these seven months, the idea of putting on makeup felt very strange. I’m excited to tackle the wardrobe again.”
Leslie talks about her sumptuous knits of her Alexa shoot. “Not many patterns, kind of a tailored cut, flattering for the figure,” she says. “I like to give it an edge, with either a chunky boot or some earrings, but otherwise, it’s relatively minimalist.”
Rose will be seen starring in Kenneth Branagh’s adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel Death on the Nile. “I am a murder-mystery person,” Leslie confirms. “The idea of being part of a whodunit fills me with joy, because it’s the type of book I love to immerse myself in.”
