Game Of Thrones star Lena Headey says the cast are raring to move on to their next adventure now they’ve finished on the final season.
The series will come to end after season eight, which kicks off in April.
Lena and the rest of the show’s cast wrapped on the final season months ago and are ‘ready’ to leave it behind, according to the Cersei Lannister star.
Saying she was ‘really happy’ with her work on Game Of Thrones, she said: ‘It’s the end. It’s the eighth season, which is bonkers. I feel totally chuffed…’
Speaking on Good Morning America she added: ‘[Chuffed] just means really happy – to have been part of something like that for so long.
‘I think everyone’s ready to kind of do new stuff. But I think until it’s over-over, I won’t know how I feel.’
Lena previously admitted that her final day of shooting was ‘tedious’ as she had to hang around a flight of stairs for most of it.
Of course the actor refused to go in depth about why Cersei was hanging around a staircase out of fear she would get into trouble with HBO.
In an interview with Variety, Lena said: ‘My last day on set was weirdly very tedious because I just had to shoot going up and down these stairs and that was it.’
When pressed for more details she said: ‘I can’t tell you anything, they’d kill me!’
Game Of Thrones starts 15 April on Sky Atlantic
