‘Game of Thrones’ actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau says it would be “stupid” to film multiple endings of the show. The hit HBO series’ seventh season saw multiple record-breaking viewings, but a number of episodes were leaked before their air times. HBO’s head of programming Casey Bloys recently said that the series’ producers are planning to film multiple endings, in order to combat leaks in the show’s final season. Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister on the show, spoke to Marie Claire about the idea of filming more than one ending. He said, “It seems really stupid to me. […] They know how expensive it is to shoot. You’re not going to waste $100,000 a day to shoot something you’re not going to use.” The six episodes of the series’ eighth season will each run longer than 60 minutes and will reportedly cost the network at least $15 million per episode.
