The Mountain can’t comprehend Twitch streamer Asmongold’s unhealthy eating habits, but proposes a swap for his 8,000 calorie diet.
Icelandic actor The Mountain, real name Hafthor Julius Björnsson, is probably best known for his role as Gregor Clegane in Game Of Thrones. But he’s also a strongman competitor and, as such, knows a lot about eating healthy.
The same can’t be said about Twitch streamer Asmongold, who recently made waves online when he claimed he was finally going to clean his filthy house. He’s also known to have a diet mostly consisting of fast food and fizzy drinks.
The Mountain also streams on Twitch, where he says he was ‘shocked’ to learn about Asmongold’s eating habits, but would love to swap diets as an experiment.
The actor was referring to a YouTube video where Asmongold eats fruits for the first time (yes, really), in which the streamer says:
‘You have to understand that my diet consists entirely of fast food, soda, and steaks. And then cookies and candy. But that’s about it.’
The video made its way to The Mountain on his own livestream, who said he was ‘shocked’, but had a proposal:
‘How funny if I went to Texas and I would swap diets with him for a whole day. He would eat my diet and I would eat his diet.’
His friend on stream quickly chimed in saying that The Mountain would ‘lose his gains in one day, bro.’
The Mountain agreed but he thought it’d be funnier to see Asmongold eat his diet, which adds up to a towering 8,000 calories a day – none of which is fast food.
‘Could you imagine? asks The Mountain, adding, ‘He would die.’
Asmongold hasn’t responded to the clip, or the proposition made by 2018’s World’s Strongest Man, but hopefully he agrees, because it’s hard not to imagine the whole thing being a hilarious disaster.
