How did Arya Stark manage to sneak up behind The Night King? Game of Thrones fans have still been none the wiser months after the most terrifying villain in Westeros was slaughtered by the littlest Stark, but actor Vladimir Furdik may have finally cleared things up.
During The Long Night, the battle between the living and the dead came to a head with way too many heroes left standing. After eight seasons of sleepless nights living in fear of The Night King, Arya (Maisie Williams) came from nowhere stuck a dagger in his gut and in the blink of an eye he was gone.
Anti-climax doesn’t even cut it.
Vlad – the man behind the monster – has now shared a video on Twitter, which may explain how Arya got to The Night King with an early shot of the hero leaping from a rooftop in an episode from the early Game of Thrones hey-days, foreshadowing what was later to become her golden hour.
‘A girl learned from her training,’ the 49-year-old teased to his 9,000 followers.

Although, fans still need convincing:
The Night King’s death was just one of many complaints to tarnish Game of Thrones’ final season. From a rogue coffee cup to unfinished storylines and everything Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) did or said, the HBO juggernaut’s legacy will be one of the biggest disappointments imaginable.
Showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff have since been immortalised as ‘bad writers’ on Google, thanks to fans of the fantasy epic, and they’ve subsequently pulled out of appearing at this weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con where they were expected to address the backlash surrounding season eight for the very first time.
Regardless, Game of Thrones has been nominated for a record 32 Emmy Awards with eight of its stars up for acting gongs. EIGHT. Even if Gwendoline Christie and Alfie Allen had to submit themselves after being overlooked by HBO.
Game of Thrones seasons one to eight are available to stream on NOW TV.
