you're so on point with this theory! have you heard anything about the theory that Varys is a merman (or 'merling')? it sounds totally nuts I know but there really are slight references to it! it's said that the motive would be for littlefinger to sit on his own throne atop the Vale and with the water levels having risen thanks to the dragons and winter being over, the merfolk would have the land and, like the name of his ship suggests, littlefinger will be the Merling King. i know it's far out there but a part of me really needs for this to be true. lol

I'm right with you up til Season 5. I love the idea of the mind being a weapon. Tywin says as much in the Histories and Lore. And verbal sparring is one of the things I do to keep my own mind sharp.
The show seems to have made Littlefinger think with his dick since he decided to give Sansa to Ramsay Bolton and it's really annoying me.
"No one weeps for spiders or whores." I've always found Varys so hard to fathom, he's so outwardly obsequious he makes my flesh creep.
If he gets on Dany's wrong side I fear he will end in fire.
I'd like to see the Republic of Westeros, but I don't think it'll happen because there's the threat from the White Walkers and so much more killing to happen first.
