Throughout A Song of Ice & Fire / Game of Thrones there have been characters whose identities have remained a mystery and many people aren’t who they seem. In today’s theory videos we’ll be taking a closer look at who may or may not be related to House Targaryen. Some in this video may surprise you…others may not.

  1. I have been thinking about this theory for a while, and I take issue with this.
The whole point is that the mad king bedded Tywen's wife on their wedding before he did it.
But, Tyrion is actually younger than the twins (Cersei and Jaimie). This is shown when the prince of Dorne is talking to him, telling him about Cersei pinching his privates and so on when he was a baby.
So if you look at it logically, then it doesn't make sense for him to be Targaryan, but for the twins.
Unless, that is, the king kept bedding her in secret, which, it does not say anywhere in the books as far as I am concerned. So, how can he be a Targaryan?

  2. What if we are wrong and Meera Reed is actually the daughter of Lyanna and Reghar, and Jon is the Bastard son of Ned Stark and some women. A massive plot twist, creating an entire feminist ideal. just a random thought and would be like a nice small detail.

  3. While it does sound a bit farfetched, there is indeed a possibility that Petyr Baelish might have descended from the Blackfyre line, most probably from the line of Ser Aegor Rivers and Lady Calla Blackfyre.. But Aegor Rivers and Calla's father Daemon Blackfyre were both big, muscled, accomplished warriors while Petyr is a small, fragile man.. But who knows, his Valyrian dagger might be his mother's heirloom, Alayne Blackwaters anyone? (well I just combined Blackfyre and Rivers)..

  4. Nice predict on Arya killing Walder Frey but I didnt get something… you predicted this Petyr Baelish and Sansa scene… you said that he would let his guard down and tell Sansa his master plan which happened after all. Oh well, nice videos and I hope you put, instead of just pictures, some scenes of the episode (muted or not) while you make your review.

  5. Littlefinger got his Valyrian steel dagger by trickery..he told cat stark it was his til he lost it to Tyrian in a bet..he lied..the dagger was King Roberts and Joffrey stole it to have Bran killed

  6. What about Varys?? He is so obviously a Blackfyre its rediculous. He shaves his head and face to avoid showing his tagaryen looks. Also I am not totally convinced that he is even a eunuch. He tells this story about why he hates magic, even though his homeboy Illyrio calling him a "wizard" at least once. He also has a great affinity for changing his appearance. It also seems somewhat hinted that his "little birds" may be more than kids with their tounges cut out, and may actually be just that… LITTLE BIRDS. I could totally be wrong but there are many inconsistencies between the stories he tells and actual facts

  7. Hello there! I have recently started watching your reviews on GoT and you make great points and connect the dots on many events that I had not previously considered.
I currently do not have cable and love catching up through your reviews. Yesterday, I watched this video, "The Secret Targareyens" and thought, maybe Mance IS a member of that group. Until I started re-watching season five. If Mance really was the last dragon, then why all the screaming when he was burned alive? Ultimately, Jon killed him, so the producers could try to push it off as Mance was making a show as to not reveal his true identity, but I am not so sure.

  9. Tormond says it took Mance 20 years to band the wildlings togther, but Roberts rebellion happens 15 or so years prior so there is a small time difference, but that would be a sweet theory.

  10. The Petyr Baelish theory, my first thought was Sheepstealer. Someone in the Vale managed to tame it (they maybe had Targaryen blood) Petyr could be related..?
