Comedian and actor Hannibal Buress was arrested in Miami Saturday night in a bizarre encounter with two policemen that was at least partially captured on video. The Miami Police Department’s official position on the matter is that Buress was detained for “disorderly intoxication”

  1. Dear idiots of America : COPS DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE AN ACTUAL REASON TO ARREST YOU. THERE IS NOTHING STOPPING THEM FROM SIMPLY TAKING YOU INTO CUSTODY AND THEN FIGURING OUT WHAT TO CLAIM YOU DID ON THE WAY TO THE POLICE STATION.
    I went to Western Illinois University with someone in the process of becoming a cop. While telling him about an encounter with Police where I thought I had been unfairly arrested I said, "yeah, but they have to have a legitimate reason to stop and then arrest me, right?" He replied, "as far as I have been taught, AS A COP I DON'T NEED A REASON because it's your word against mine and if I'm a good cop I will simply come up with a good reason after I've arrested you."
