Game Of Thrones season eight has been given a slightly less vague release date, being confirmed for the ‘first half’ of 2019.
HBO’s programming president Casey Bloys narrowed the show’s release window at the Television Critics Asssociation’s press tour (via Entertainment Weekly) last week.
It was previously known the show would air in ‘2019’, so confirmation it will probably arrive in March/April as expected is always nice.
Bloys also shot down reports the Game Of Thrones prequel led by Jane Goldman will start filming in October, stating shooting will begin in early 2019 with the project searching for a director.
The eighth and final season of Game Of Thrones will be the shortest yet, with only six episodes left to wrap up all the hanging plot threads in Westeros.
But how can the show wrap up in a satisfying way? Check out some of the believable, and slightly crazy theories circulating the web.
