Based on Fire & Blood by George R.R. Martin, HBO’s House of the Dragon details the scorched-earth story of House Targaryen. The series is set 200 years before the war, winter, and White Walkers of the Game of Thrones era, when this formidable—and instantly recognizable—blonde family reigned, lording over their empire with the awesome power of dragons. Follow the Targaryens as they compete for the throne, protect their legacy, and attempt to guard the seven kingdoms from dangers (it seems) only they can predict.
