HBO has officially confirmed that the full trailer for House of the Dragon Season 3 will drop this Monday, April 27, 2026. This announcement was made at the HOTD panel of CCXP Mexico. Later, it was also confirmed with a tweet by the official X page of House of the Dragon.

Early look at CCXP Mexico

Cast members Matt Smith (Daemon Targaryen), Olivia Cooke (Alicent Hightower), and Fabien Frankel (Criston Cole) appeared on stage, where the trailer was shown to a live audience for the first time. Lucky fans in attendance got an early exclusive preview and have been buzzing about it on social media, describing the footage according to themselves but not giving any major spoilers.

When can everyone watch it?

While some fans have already seen it in Mexico, the rest of the world will get access when HBO releases the trailer officially on Monday. Fans can expect it to land on HBO’s YouTube channel, social media platforms, and Max later in the day.
