When asked, “What did you first do when you find out that you’re part of this?”

His answer was immediate, “I picked my jaw up off the floor. I could not believe it.” This was an expected reaction to the fans due to the scale of the

universe. However, Bennett had a completely different answer.

Celebrating alone

With no clear plan for how to celebrate such huge news, Bennett turned to his flatmates for support. Unfortunately, everyone was busy, leaving him unsure of what to do next.

“I asked my flatmates to come have a drink to celebrate but everybody was busy. So I didn’t… I didn’t know how to do anything.”

This made him as well as the others present there laugh out loud.

Finn Bennett’s candid response showcased how overwhelming it might’ve felt to him when a major opportunity suddenly arrives. Even though he had landed one of the most talked-about roles in the highly anticipated Game of Thrones prequel, his first instinct wasn’t grand celebration, it was disbelief followed by awkward uncertainty.
