An ambitious character
Harry Collett, who was only 17 when he was cast as Jace, quickly became a fan favorite for his portrayal of Rhaenyra’s eldest son. Over three seasons, audiences watched Jace grow from a young prince into a responsible heir and dragonrider. His death in the Battle of the Gullet in Season 3 Episode 1 was one of the most emotional and shocking moments of the series.
Despite the heartbreak, Collett has expressed nothing but appreciation for the experience and for the fans who supported his version of the character.
