Jessica Henwick (Nymeria Sand) may not have been hugely memorable on Game of Thrones as Nymeria Sand, but she’s quietly had a very successful career outside Westeros. Not only did she star in Thrones, but she also played an X-Wing pilot in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and had a lead role in Iron Fist as Colleen Wing. She was easily the best part of that show, by the way.

Now, Deadline report that Henwick is in talks for a “lead role” in The Matrix 4. We don’t know much about the part, but there’s “buzz around town” — Deadline’s words — that writer-director Lana Wachowski is looking for a “female-like” version of Keanu Reeves’ Neo character. I think Henwick would be perfect in that role.

If hired, Henwick would join an interesting cast that includes original cast members Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss, Aquaman star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Neil Patrick Harris.

In other Game of Thrones cast member news,Variety reports that Lena Heady (Cersei) is joining Michael Caine and pop star Rita Ora in a gender-bent, modern-day version of Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist. The movie is being produced by Sky and will be released on its cinema pay-TV service. In this version, Oliver will be an artist living on the streets of modern-day London. Here’s the synopsis:

A chance encounter with a gang of grifters led by the charismatic Dodge, played by Ora, propels Twist into a high-stakes heist to steal a priceless painting for master thief Fagin, portrayed by Caine, and his psychopathic business partner, Sikes, played by Headey.

Sikes, a dude in the novel, is a nasty piece of work. If you’ve ever seen Heady in Dredd as the drug kingpin Madeline “Ma-Ma” Madrigal, then you know she’ll have no problem pulling off “psychopathic.”

Finally, beloved Game of Thrones star Kristian Nairn (Hodor) talked to students at the University of Texas, giving them advice on acting, as well as his experience with coming out of the closet. “I just really believe one of the most important things in life is to stick by your guns and be yourself,” he said. “And just do you. That’s what I always try to impress on people.”

Hodor.
