Game of Thrones as seen through the eyes of children is absolutely hilarious. FBE (Fine Brothers Entertainment) had a group of children watch age-appropriate scenes from the series, and I have to say, their reactions are the best things I’ve seen in a while. Some are confused as to what they’re watching (the girl who is reminded of How To Train Your Dragon is on the right track, since Kit Harington is in that, too) and some recognize the series immediately. I love the one girl’s reaction to Joffrey. “Everyone hates you! Leave!” Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?
Game of Thrones isn’t the kind of show children should be watching, and one of the kids wasn’t hesitant to share that his parents don’t allow him to view it because it’s “very purocative.” The children’s’ reaction to anything involving dragons is adorable, with lots of “oohs” and “aahs.” But not everyone is amused. “I don’t even get it,” one kid says. That sound a little familiar, too.
My favorite reaction? “This is like history or something, but fancier.”
One of the kids gives a prediction for the series finale: “They’re all just going to die in the end.” A lot of adults feel the same way, kid. For anyone worried about the types of scenes the kids got to see, don’t worry: the Fine Bros picked scenes without any nudity or dirty words in them…although there is some violence. It’s hard to avoid on Game of Thrones, I guess.
