I think kit's misunderstood this a bit here. Martin says he always wants it to remain ambigious about the afterlife in GoT much the same as in real life. If you get brought back to life by a God, wouldn't it make sense he didn't show you anything beyond? If you did, you wouldn't care to live anymore, you wouldn't care to save anyone else, because you would know everything will end up alright. And if the guy leading everyone else doesn't care if people live or die, you've got a problem on your hands. Same thing happened with Beric Dondarrion and he gets it. Not meaning to preach religion or anything here, just an interesting thought…
