Kit Harington has teased his fans that filming for Jon Snow might not actually be over.

Production for Game Of Thrones officially came to a head in July this year, as actors started to say their farewells to the beloved series.

But it looks as though Kit is still not prepared to say his goodbyes just yet, and is trying to grasp on to anything GOT – we don’t blame him.

The 31-year-old attended the world premiere of his new movie The Death and Life of John F. Donovan.

However, despite his move to take on another character, he still couldn’t keep Jon Snow off his mind.

Talking to Entertainment Weekly, the star joked about his current haircut, and revealed that he is under strict orders not to cut off his locks.

According to the actor, he’s desperate for a shave, but is still waiting for the go ahead from GOT producers, just in case re-shoots are required.

He told the publication: ‘We just finished filming. You can’t tell because I look exactly the same. They own me; they’ve just kept me like this.’

Before joking: ‘When I shave, I look like a tired child.’

It looks as though he won’t be shaving his beard off any time soon, as it could still be a whole nine months until season eight is released.

An official release date is still yet to be confirmed, however HBO’s programming president Casey Bloys narrowed the show’s release window at the Television Critics Asssociation’s press tour.

Talking to Entertainment Weekly she said: ‘We’re going to be toiling away on season eight until May of 2019, so it’s eight or nine months away.

‘Here’s the one thing I can assure you: Dan [Weiss] and Dave [Benioff] [GoT showrunners] were not sitting around on a beach waiting to go back to work.

‘They’re perfectionists and this is the soonest it can come back at a level of quality that they are comfortable with.’

They have however released a tiny amount of footage on their HBO teaser trailer, which will have to keep fans going in the meantime.
