Kit Harington has come a long way from brooding on the Wall in Game of Thrones, and Industry Season 4 Episode 3 proves it in the most awkward way possible. The actor appears in a jaw-dropping threesome scene that reunites two of Peak TV’s most iconic shows—only this time, it’s way more uncomfortable than anyone expected. What makes it even wilder is that the show’s creators are fully aware of the bizarre casting circularity they’ve created, and they’re having an absolute ball with it.

When Jon Snow meets Sally Draper in the most awkward way possible
Industry co-creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay didn’t shy away from acknowledging what they’d accomplished. “These are recognizable people doing pretty unrecognizable things for the people they played before, which is really fun,” Down told Decider.
“When we first thought about Kiernan Shipka in this role, that’s really quite a fun little bit of circularity that we’re doing a work-based drama [like Mad Men] and now Sally Draper is having c*m sucked out of her by our female lead.” It’s the kind of meta-joke that only works because both Harington and Shipka are secure enough in their careers to let their iconic characters get completely demolished on screen. Konrad Kay couldn’t resist adding: “I don’t think her dad, I don’t think Don [Draper] would be very proud.”
