Lately, all the action seems to be happening in Iceland. Two more Game of Thrones cast members showed up in the area to film scenes for Season 7, but before we go any further, know that we’re going to discuss SPOILERS.

First, members of the Game of Thrones costume department turned up near the the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon in Iceland. Then Kit Harington was spotted. Then Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont). Now, two more members of the cast have photographed in the area: Joe Dempsie (Gendry) and Paul Kaye (Thoros of Myr).

Dempsie showed up in a shoot at Muriola Beach last year, encountering Liam Cunningham (Davos) and Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) in King’s Landing. Then, in Zumaia, he filmed a scene alongside Glen, Cunningham, and Kit Harington (Jon Snow) where the four of them shove off from Dragonstone in a boat, headed for parts unknown.

Now he’s shown up in Iceland alongside Kaye, presumably to join Harington and Glen. What’s happening here?

According to SPOILERS, this lot of characters—together with others like Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju), the Hound (Rory McCann) and Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer)—will head north of the Wall in Season 6 on a mission to capture a wight, since they need to prove to the rest of Westeros that this whole White Walker threat is legit. That’s probably what we’re seeing here: the filming of that journey.

The production will stick around Iceland for “a could of weeks,” according to one crew member. Stay warm.
