A Game of Thrones ice hotel? You’re not even ready for what we’re about to tell you. In collaboration with HBO Nordic, a Finland-based hotel company, Lapland Hotels, has created this incredible structure out of 400,000 kilos of ice, using artists from Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Poland, Finland and Ukraine to sculpt iconic objects and places from Game of Thrones. There are dragons, the Night King, direwolves, and much more. Euro News takes us inside with a new video:
Would you like to get married in the Great Sept of Baelor? Or eat a three-course meal at Winterfell? Everything is possible here so long as you dress warm.
The Operations Manager at Lapland Hotels SnowVillage, Janne Pasma, is particularly excited. “The idea of a Game of Thrones implementation was perfect as a theme,” Pasma said in a press release. “Right from the start, we knew that we would be getting an extremely professional team of ice sculptors and snow builders, who would achieve an accurate and ambitious result.”
You can see more of the hotel here and book a stay here.
