Game of Thrones Season 8 seems to be nearing the end of its filming, with many a stars having wrapped up their final round of filming. However, it’s not yet over. As we know, some stars are still filming, and it seems like one of them is Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays the role of Jaime Lannister on the show. In a recent interview, he talked about his Season 8 filming. Read on!

Nikolaj gave a recent interview to Variety, at Cannes, and it’s a video interview. Check it out, below:

Speaking of finishing work on the show, Nikolaj said:

“I don’t think it’ll ever be gone from my life. I’m going back to Belfast next week, so I’m not 100% done, but the last scene in the script, I’ve shot that; the last scene with me.”

Well, we hope it’s the last scene of the show on the whole, because we would love for Jaime to survive Game of Thrones. Speaking of what the fans can expect from the end, Nikolaj seemed to have a positive outlook:

“I was satisfied. I think it’s one of those things…you don’t want it to end. If I’m watching a show that I love, I just don’t want it to end. So any ending is kind of like, ‘Ahgh!’”

He continued:

“But I think they will be satisfied. Everyone on the show show worked harder than ever before. We spent twice as much time shooting these six episodes than we did on two full seasons before. No expense has been spared. We’ve gone all in. We really hope people will like it. We’ve done our best.”

Well, let’s hope the ending is as good as Nikolaj thinks it is. What do you guys think? Talk to us in the comments, down below!
