Peter Dinklage has revealed a suitably brutal prank he played while filming Game Of Thrones.
The 49-year-old actor, who recently scooped a record-matching Emmy, recalled to Jimmy Kimmel how he likes to partake in on-set larks between the dragons and Iron Throne tussles.
But what’s his prank of choice? Well, it’s perhaps the most apt Game Of Thrones prank you can find.
‘I like to pretend I’m dead,’ Dinklage told the US chat show host. ‘It’s fun.’
Asked to who it benefits, Dinklage added: ‘For whoever, the wardrobe person, or the producers, just my legs sprawled out in the trailer.
‘You’ve got to get really smushed into the floor, like, a very awkward position.
‘I’ll wait hours. We have a lot of time on set.’
Weirdly enough, it’s a prank Kimmel is very familiar with – revealing how his mother used to play dead too when he was a child.
‘I think she wanted two things,’ Kimmel said. ‘To know that we loved her and also, she wanted a rest.’
Dinklage recently sent Game Of Thrones fans into speculation frenzy following his Emmys speech, which potentially referenced a hugely popular theory.
Game Of Thrones season eight is set to release in 2019.
