A script for an episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ signed by members of the cast that was bought in a pub in Staffordshire is set to sell for thousands at an auction.
The script has an estimate of £5,000 – £7,000 for when it goes up for auction later this month – but it was originally purchased for £1,170.
It was in the charity auction because actor Jerome Flynn, who plays Bronn in the series, donated it to raise money for the Global White Lion Protection Trust.
It was then bought by Angela Raybould, who’s a fan of the show.
Angela was then invited to London to meet Jerome who signed it, ‘To Angela, Thanks for your generosity, Big Love, Jerome Flynn’.
Other cast members have also autographed it.
The script for an episode of the show called The Children, was written by David Benioff and D B Weissin in 2013 and is based on A Song of Ice and Fire by George R R Martin.
The fantasy drama has been a worldwide hit, with 17.4 million people watching the Season 8 premiere according to HBO. The show has also won numerous TV awards.
Actors from the Midlands including Kit Harington (from Worcestershire) and Sophie Jonas (née Turner, from Warwickshire) also star in the series.
The script is due to be sold on January 21 at Hansons in Derbyshire.
