All I really wanted was a nod to Mara Jade. Maybe Kylo ren killed her maybe not, but we’ll never know

I'd like a more coherent story, the writing here felt very weak, disjointed and messy. Pointless sub plots, it felt more like an "average" Hollywood blockbuster than and epic star wars movie. I absolutely feel they wasted Luke's potential, they could have had an unpredictable plot but still given Luke the treatment fans waited decades for. I think he'd have been a welcome cast member to episode 9 as well. Episode 9- intelligent writing & respect for the franchise, old and new fans, are just as important.

Which one would I rather watch?  "Duke" skywalker (Luke's duchebag brother) and a space ship that runs out of gas or a movie where this happens from Fate of the Jedi "Luke Skywalker and Jaina Solo fought back to back bonded by blood and the force itself as they performed a duet of death on the 6 sith Sabers (Saver=Jedi Knight) pressing in for the attack".

As a Fan. I was both disgusted/shocked and underwhelmed.And amazed hated it and loved it.And found it Peculiar storywise yet solid. The only real option is for Luke with Obi & Yoda to guide Rey and I hope to see Anakin/Vader guide Rey & Kylo Ren as Darth Vader

A Young Sidious or Vader restored. A Duel follows .Kyle's ass got handed to him massively.[ I hope on Vader free from his suit free & More powerfull]

What if Snoke is really old but his body isn't. If Palagueis could create life then maybe Snoke could transfer his essence. Maybe thats why he looks mutated.

Even if the cool thing is to say they took a risk, I'm still disappointed with the movie and risk does not mean quality and logic.

Pushing the envelope in Ep. 8 was probably appropriate, although it went beyond what I would've guessed. For Episode 9 to truly wrap up the entire Skywalker saga, I think J.J. is going to have to do quite a lot of fan service and just touch all the bases as he did with The Force Awakens. I think it'll be a satisfying ending.

I think he is just looking for that pay check bohoo:ing around as a ghost. When we read his memoir later on he will trash this horrible movie as the rest of us. Watched Force Awakens yesterday again, and that was a pretty good movie. Too much copy paste of course, but it set things up nicely. Too bad the last Jedi´s dump turned out to spit on the entire franchise.

Dude, he's being diplomatic. You can tell he (Mark H) was disappointed with the direction of the Luke character.

Honestly, I’m not entirely sure Hamill was wrong.

I preferre unexpected stuff, just like Ep. VIII

I hope they stop "borrowing" from the old EU. Keep hitting us with things we don't expect.

This movie was garbage. A dumpster fire. Look at all this damage control. If this movie was any good you wouldn't see this type interviews.
