You forgot the main motivation for ST to go 4+ seasons – syndication. Netflix would be smart to do this with their shows in the event that they fade in their market like so many companies have before (MySpace, Blockbuster anyone?), then there remains another income source.

New female character was obviously not a test subject. Her brother was the subject. He was also not lost to the upside down as Eleven opened the door, and she made first contact.

I just love this show.. The atmosphere, the music, the story, everything..

I wonder if it's possible for the finale to be 11 and the new girl could be related possibly because when the doctor took 11 away from the mother she didn't even know the child was supposed to be born so she wasn't sure if she was going to have a boy or a girl so it could be possible she thought maybe it was going to be a boy but they could be sisters
