The Golden Globes 2021 nominations are officially here! Who got snubbed? Who got the most love? Check out the list to find out.
The Golden Globes 2021 nominations are officially here! After the year weâve had, the anticipation is at an all-time high to see who will take the gold.
The announcements were made by Sarah Jessica Parker and Taraji P. Henson early this morning, and itâs quite the list. As always there were some major snubs, including Netflixâs tremendously popular Bridgerton, which was shut out of the Best Drama Series category.
Letâs start with TV. Netflixâs The Crown and Ozark both did well; shout-out to Emma Corrin and Gillian Anderson for getting well-deserved nods for their performances as Princess Diana and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, respectively! Some might say itâs definitely Netflixâs year to sweep the award circuit again after securing 42 Golden Globe nominations â 20 in television categories and 22 in film categories.
As expected, Schittâs Creek got a lot of love in the comedy section with nominations for the series, Daniel Levy, Eugene Levy, Catherine OâHara, and Annie Murphy. So far as sci-fi/fantasy goes, both Lovecraft Country and The Mandalorian are up for the top award of the night.
