This is one of the most sensible fan theories stating Arya stark is the waif and a surprise awaits in the end of the video predicting how exactly would the season 6 episode 8 titled “The No one”end?

  1. ok so i just seen a clip of last seasons episode where the actress is killed by aryas rival waif. she saids this to arya. "the manyface god was promised a name. he must always receive what is his. you cant change that. i cant change that. NO ONE CAN." people were confused why arya was called no one. at the end of the episode. thus they took it as it wasnt arya and it was waif. but this is why h'gar tells arya "a girl has finally become NO ONE." because she changed the name promised to the manyface god. no one CAN change the name promised to the manyface god. arya was able to change it. thus becoming no one.

  2. I really feel like Arya is dead and Waif is pretending to be Arya. Waif knows who's on her list, waif knows her life story and we didn't see waif getting killed. In the ending of the episode no one, Arya says "A girl is Arya Stark and I am going home" so why would Jaquen Hagar be smiling since Arya evidently did not complete her training to becoming no one? Also we didn't see Waifs death, just her face which is odd since this is Game Of Thrones after all.

  3. Easier explanation:

The Waif was a spurned older sister. When Arya showed up, the Waif immediately imprinted her despised younger sister onto her.

Arya was tasked with killing someone who would evoke her past. That was the Cersei actress evoking the actual Cersei.

The Waif was tasked with killing Arya, who was evoking her own past. Her younger sister that usurped her place and was now usurping her in the House of Black and White.

The test wasn't to see if they could obey orders and kill people. It was to see if they would let go of their past.

The Waif failed because she was so determined to kill Arya for being like her younger sister.

Arya passed because she didn't kill the Cersei actress.

  4. That would be a great ending… You should apply to become a writer for the show.  And it would be much better than the mess they handed us in the last episode with Arya supposedly killing Waif off camera…  I don't see how they are going to explain that one…

  5. what if the waif is the "no one" persona or identity arya is supposed to become if she is going to serve the many faced god. but she has decided to remain herself, her choice thru actions. by making choices based on her own personal feelings she can't live with "killing" or getting rid of the "arya" persona and becoming the waif who is who she would be if she was no one. jaqen or however you spell it seems to prefer arya over the waif. and she will kill the waif and decide to be arya once and for all but somehow he will respect her for that idk hopefully get some kind of abilty from all this trouble and storyline…

  6. First rule of the House of Black and White – you don't talk about the House of Black and White. 🙂
I think your theory is a bit far fetched, but I gave you a like nonetheless. If you're right, it's going to be a proper WTF moment. 🙂

  7. yes i'm agree but Arya will kill her black side Jaqan will break it when he will face the waif whit the SYRIO FOREL'S FACE so we will see waif's face change to ARYA and she will be free to leave Braavos this will be her last test.

  8. Very nicely explained and could be true but Arya is a strong personality and therefore it is hard for her to be no-one and have no morality.I don't think she can be forced to assassinate an innocent person.

  9. Now that I think about it, it would seem that the faceless men see death as a gift not a form of punishment or something bad. So it would also make sense that the faceless men would frown upon taking a life as part of a revenge scheme. The faceless men would probably also frown upon death being used to eliminate someone so that a person can elevate their own status such as the girl who wanted the Cersei actress killed. The faceless men may also value an assassin who knows when not to kill as well as when it is necessary to kill. Some people have proposed a fight club theory where Arya, like Edward Norton's character in the movie Fight Club, is basically fighting with himself in an effort to eliminate the darker part of his personality. In Arya's case, that would be her desire to kill for revenge or perhaps pleasure. This darker side of Arya's personality may manifest itself in the persona of the Waif. Jagen may be having Arya fight with herself, so to speak, in an effort to purge Arya's desire to kill for revenge or pleasure. So, long story short, I agree with your theory and the fight club theory. I they are both at play here. Now it is true that Jagen killed for Arya once before to eliminate some people on Arya's death list but that was to pay back a debt to Arya.

  10. great vid. I just wrote this theory on someone else's video and then I found your vid. I hope this is the big reveal of ep. 8! Seeing Arya killed by the Waif, and then finding out the Waif has been Arya the whole time would be epic. Fight Club was great! It would be Game of Fight Club or Fight Club of Thrones?

  11. Maybe True, First she seams to be fighting with no one when she's blind, then she changed her mind and prevented the poisoning really quickly, Another fact is that she's harmed by waif so many time and she doesn't look harmed, plus the way she talked before the assination fail and the fact arya's left handed. And jaqen who doesn't seam to be on waif side
