Game of Thrones has completely finished filming. Kit Harington’s watch has ended. He’s so done, he even cut off his luscious Jon Snow locks and grew what he himself declared a “ridiculous” mustache. However, not only will the show always be with him, a statue of his own character will literally always be with him. HBO’s recent Season 8 teaser brought three of the Stark kids into the Winterfell crypts, where they were surprised to see statues for themselves — statues that are normally made after a person has died. That Jon Snow statue now lives in Harington’s shed.
They sent it to his house! Presumably, that’s the house Kit Harington shares with former Ygritte actress Rose Leslie, who is now his wife. I’d love to know what she thinks of that statue in the shed. But if they do turn it into a “water feature” — like a fountain in the yard — that would be amazing. I hope birds poop on it.

Kit Harington wasn’t the only one to go around the Game of Thrones set picking out props to keep as souvenirs. They probably all did — cast, crew, extras — and we’ll surely hear about the various props as the final season edges closer. (Unless they weren’t supposed to take said props, and then they’ll take the secrets to their graves.) Maisie Williams plays Kit Harington’s on-screen sister — biological or not — Arya Stark. Williams revealed one of the props she took, and she’s already planning to bore her grandchildren with stories about it.
All in all, this is a year of big endings for Kit Harington. How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World is the final film of that trilogy, and it opens in theaters on February 22. Game of Thrones Season 8 is the final season of the HBO show and it has just six episodes premiering Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO. A full trailer should still be coming, even if the showrunners would rather go without one. Here’s what else is airing in the busy midseason 2019 TV season.
