It’s Game of Thrones VS The Walking Dead! Two amazing shows that don’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. Giant casts of great characters like Rick Grimes and Tyrion Lannister. Amazing action, makeup and effects work. Fantastic music and surprises.
Both of these shows are based off works of literature and have done a pretty good job representing those mediums. It all comes down to preference. Do you prefer the world-wide drama, shocking twists and backstabbing the Game of Thrones delivers? Perhaps you are more into the smaller scale adventures of Rick, Darrel and Michonne as the fight off walkers to make it thru another night.

Game of Thrones is so much better, it's not even close
season 1 – game of thrones but both were great

If you asked me a month ago which show was better, I would say TWD no question. I didn't like GOT. I thought it was overrated overhyped garbage.
BUT BOOOOY WAS I WRONG.
I started watching GOT a week ago. And OH MY FUCKING GOD, what a fucking spectacle that show is. Characters are phenomenal, dialogue is amazing and the first episode alone made me want more. When Ned died, I was super hooked. Then Red Wedding happened, then Purple Wedding happened, then walkers happened…..GOT is BY FAR a better show. Not taking anything away from TWD. It is not their fault. You can't fight a TV Show that has dragons, kings, queens, battles, ect….. it's impossible.
well that uh, not funny, jokes are dead. you just admitted that GOT is better than days of our lives with gratuitous violence in all three categories and then chose the latter. Yeah, that was the first and last time i will watch anything from this channel.
Game of thrones is the best. I use to only watch walking dead and while it is the best show when it comes to American shows game of thrones is the best overall. It just has a more detailed plot and characters.
Ummmm walking dead definately because Hardly any good zombie movies with that said… And there hasn't been no damn zombie show ever in the history of ever? And if so, it was old crap sucky sh– and probably was black and white, as opposed to GOT there's fantasy shows all the time, successful fantasy shows and movies… Plus the story line for GOT isn't that complex if you think about it, its just fighting over land… Really?! Yes Walking dead is about survival, however, there's so much that goes into it that it makes you wonder what is going to happen, and why are they even doing it in the first place?

The Walking Dead will always be the one of the greatest TV shows that have came out. Andrew Lincoln is the only " Rick motherfucking Grimes" Look at Ricks beard in season 4,5. That alone gives the show a whole letter grade up. The man literally looks like a modern version of the "The Man With No Name." The black Levi pants, brown boots, his awesome voice, and his fucking magnum tears Game of Thrones a new asshole. Season 3 of the walking dead was the best season of The Walking Dead. Season 3 episode 1 is all I have to say. That one episode was better then any season of Game of Throwns. The cinematography of 3×1 was absolutely perfect. The script/dialogue between characters was fanfuckingtastic. The special effects of the walkers and gore when they were cleaning up the prison was perfects. Michael Rooker was another reason why the season excelled even further. People say the walking dead can't kill any of its main characters. Hershel, TDog,. Merle in my opinion was a main character that many loved. All those three died in season 3. Look at all these cast members and former cast members are all doing big things. Look at Shane/ Jon Bernthal. He's the motherfucking Punisher and already got his own show coming out. Michael Rooker in Guardians of the Galaxy,etc. The Walking Dead now has to get its shit together because this last season was shit. I understand season 8 is all out War but we will see if it's all that.
I like both, but in my opinion, GOT has a better storyline.

twd is my favorite show of all time. I started watching it via bootleg vhs. not kidding. got is also amazing. I cant hardly distinguish between the two. if u have an open mind you should watch both. both are great. but walking dead is my show of choice because all of my favorite characters do not die

I'd pick GOT but I love both shows. I think GOT has a better story line & has had some epic battles. Plus the nude scenes are always nice .
People say that TWD has more viewers than GOT, this is not true. GOT is the most illegally downloaded show of all time. If you take those figures into account, GOT destroys TWD by a mile. GAME OF THRONES IS A FAR SUPERIOR SHOW, its not even close.
