Winter is coming, and so is the booze. With the final Game of Thrones season nearly upon us, the only reasonable way to cope with the approaching end is lots and lots of “Dothaquiri” cocktails. Seriously, ahead of the official spring premiere—April 14, people!!!!—Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood will welcome GOT pop-up bar at local arcade, Replay.
For fans of the hit HBO series, “Winter 2019” will offer the chance to snag some Arbor Gold and Fire & Blood beers from Ommegang Brewery, sip on select wine and mead, or throw back a signature cocktail Tyrion Lannister-style, Eater Chicago reports. Wonder what Jon Snow’s drink of choice would be?
It’s basically the next best thing to actually attending the cast’s wild Belfast party. And although there *probably* won’t be a Jason Momoa guest appearance—hey, a girl can still dream!—with a $20 VIP ticket, patrons get souvenir goblet, festive pin or print, and most importantly, priority at the bar. Basically, you’re queen Cersei with tequila. Here, here!
The pop-up will reportedly kick off February 1 and run through March 1. And if you were at all concerned about a lack of authenticity, worry not. Replay promises their faux Seven Kingdoms will live up to expectations—White Walkers and all. The bar will have a weekly trivia night, and, according to Time Out Chicago, a jousting tournament. Oh, and Red Wedding feast, of course.
