Instead of going all serious, he cracks jokes while walking through the wreckage, pretending Silverwing torched the place. Bennett kicks off the tour with mock‑dramatic flair: “Boom, boom, boom, boom. They will burn.” He then laughs his way through the destroyed set, pointing at alleys and rooftops: “This, I burned. This alleyway here, all this destruction, I burnt that. Well, I didn’t. Silverwing did. Who I love dearly, and loves me, thank goodness.”
He keeps the bit going with lines like “Shit got fucked, son” and “My rage and fire spread throughout the land, and I took every last motherfucker out.” It’s over‑the‑top, but that’s the point — he’s parodying the carnage while showing off how detailed the set really is.
Comedy meets destruction
The funniest part is how Bennett mixes absurd jokes with the wreckage. He points at clogs and says: “Slight fire damage, but I can do you a deal on eBay.” He even riffs about Ulf’s weird love for wheels: “Ulf has a thing for wheels. It’s not sexual. We don’t have to go into that.”
Later, he recalls a behind‑the‑scenes mishap: “In this very room, I fell asleep on the toilet, and James Norton was very cross with me, and he kicked me in the stomach, and he punched me in the face, so I burnt his whole shit to the ground.” It’s pure chaos, but it makes the destruction feel fun instead of grim.
