  1. Knock knock
    Who's there
–In this classic joke, we're expecting something not very funny. But the joke teller pulls this off perfectly–
    This channel
    This channel who
–Now that the joke is set up, the joke teller prepares to tell us his punchline!–
This channel systematically ruins jokes by interrupting them in between and talking about the joke itself for longer than the actual joke runs by analyzing it far too deeply.

  2. Why are you explaining every single thing in a cheesy narrative? Sometimes it's better to let the clips provide the comedy because honestly it's hard to think why these were funny after that!

  3. I think Richard is hilarious but this videos kills the jokes he makes, having an explanation before each joke ruins it. Just show the context of the joke, the set up to the joke and the punchline that's all.

  4. This is not 'Top 10 Richard Ayoade Moments'. This is a man explaining said moments and thus sucking all the humour out of them.
    Comedy tip 1 – don't explain jokes.
Comedy tip 2 – don't explain jokes before actually showing them.
Comedy tip 3 – don't avoid showing most of the jokes by talking over them or having some shite-awful music on top of them.

  5. Not sure I really get the point of this – so you've out together some clips of Richard Ayoade and then instead of just showing them you talk over explaining what's being said but in a less witty and funny manner than the guy you're praising, why do this??
