***Warning: Westworld spoilers ahead***

Game Of Thrones made one hell of a drop in on season 3 episode 2 of Westworld – creating the crossover we never thought would even be possible to happen.

We’re taking Drogon making a comeback, everyone.

In one of the most shocking moments Westworld has delivered (and that’s saying something), technie Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) and Stubbs (Luke Hemsworth) return to the tech rooms of the parks in order to get answers about Maeve (Thandie Newton).

Hoping to find answers about how she managed to escape from the country western-themed fantasy land she’s supposed to remain in, the pair get a shock when they run into a dragon.

Yup, and it is actually Drogon too – except in this land, it’s a robot version for their MedievalWorld.

To drive the point home, the technicians who have pulled the mechanical animal into reality? David Benioff and DB Weiss, the showrunners from Game Of Thrones.

Told you it was definitely Drogon and the incompetent pair are trying to figure out a way to use said fake animal to do a runner to Costa Rica.

Westworld showrunner Jonathan Nolan told Variety about the decision and said: ‘I pitched it to [David and DB], as sort of, “How would you guys feel about this?” And they thought it was great fun.’

‘Very kindly, we were working with their vendor, Pixamundo, who built the dragons for them. So it’s the real dragon,’ he later added.

‘There was some back and forth about whether Season 4 or Season 5 Drogon, and some debate about how big the room was and what position the dragon could be in.

‘But yeah, it’s just irresistible.’

Place your bets now for which HBO show pops up next… Anyone up for a Sex and The City cameo next, maybe!?

Westworld airs Sundays on HBO in the US and Mondays on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
