2021 Rittenhouse Game of Thrones Iron Anniversary Series 2 fills in the gaps of the first set that came out earlier in the year. That continuation is direct in some places and an expansion in others.

Autographs are once again two per hobby box, one of which comes with an inscription as well.

2021 Rittenhouse Game of Thrones Iron Anniversary Series 2 Checklist Overview

The base set is 99 cards. Unlike a lot of second series that simply carry on from where the first part left off, this one fills in numbers left out from the initial release. It’s part of a planned collected whole.

Central characters are the focus with base cards showing their evolution over the course of the series. The foil stamping on the front fits together and backs double as nine-card puzzles.

Parallels include Copper (/199), Gold (/99) and Red (/50). One-of-one Printing Plates are also available.

Autographs and Other Inserts

Autographs are available in a variety of styles and formats, drawing from Rittenhouse’s extensive run with the show.

Inscriptions are a primary focus. With the many notes added, there are varying levels of chase possibilities added. Some collectors may opt to get one from their favorite actor and move on while others may focus on different quotes and notes from a particular signer. These variations also make specific versions quite scarce.

Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Sean Bean (Ned Stark), and Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) are among the headliners on the overall checklist.

Gold Signatures, Dual Autographs and ongoing design like Blue Border Autographs can also be found. Turner has Autograph Relic Quote cards as well.

Sketch cards return with both Character and Scenic themes.

2021 Rittenhouse Game of Thrones Iron Anniversary Series 2 has a few additional premium inserts. Three new 3-D Dectation cards offer a unique look at dragon eggs.

Metal cards are used in three insert sets: ArtiFEX Metal (/25), Metal Expressions (18 cards), and Gold Icons.

Other chase sets include Battles and Blood (11 cards) and Laster Cut Expansion (27 cards).

Game of Thrones Inflexions gets another 24 cards. These have their own Silver (/75), White (/50), Gold (/40) and Red (/25) parallels.
